Who is NLRB nominee John Ring?

The President announced on January 12 that he will nominate John Ring to be a Member of the National Labor Relations Board.

The Board is now split 2-2 between Democrats and Republicans, and Senate confirmation of Ring will return the Board  to a Republican majority, which they lost when Philip A. Miscimarra's term expired on December 16, 2017.
